Group Secretary and Chairman of China Minmetals, met with a delegation led by Li Wei, Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of Shandong Energy Group Co., Ltd. The two sides held in-depth discussions on enhancing cooperation. The attendees included Zhu Kebing, Party Group Member and Senior Vice President of China Minmetals, and Ru Gang, Vice President and Chief Auditor of Shandong Energy Group. 

Chen Dexin extended a warm welcome to the visiting delegation and briefed on China Minmetals' development. "Since its establishment in 1950," he noted, "China Minmetals has remained committed to its founding mission of 'serving and reinvigorating the country through the metals and minerals industry'. The Corporation has evolved from a specialized foreign trade entity into a globally competitive metals and mining conglomerate. It has a diversified portfolio covering metals & minerals, metallurgical engineering, technology development, trade & logistics, financial services and real estate, establishing an integrated advantage across the whole metal mining industry chain." He emphasized that Shandong Energy Group is a strategic partner of China Minmetals, proposing innovative collaboration models in mineral resource investment and development, deep-earth mining technologies, and industry-finance integration to create mutual benefits and contribute to national strategic objectives. 

Li Wei commended China Minmetals' achievements in reform and development, while introducing Shandong Energy Group's industrial portfolio and global operations. "Our strategic development objectives are highly aligned," he stated. "The two parties should leverage their respective strengths to expand collaboration in mineral resource exploration and development, setting new benchmarks for high-quality cooperative development." 

The meeting was also attended by relevant department heads from China Minmetals' headquarters and delegation members from Shandong Energy Group.
